Quilt Mother-load!

Found 23 quilts and quilt tops in the old house i’m tearing down. The lady died in 1972 and she was queen of the hoarders. The whole house is stacked floor to ceiling with boxes of junk. She saved everything. From bread ties to pieces of soap bar scraps. We found a matchbox and itĀ  had pieces of scrap thread carefully wrapped around each match!
Some of these quilts look like the Gee’s Bend Quilts in their strangely shaped patterns and materials used . Like old blue jeans with patches on top of patches and old 60′s rayon pants suits all cut up and pieced backĀ  in weird angles.
would be cool to have a art show with all this stuff.
